Join us for a unique event. We will be meeting to go birding at one of our favorite places, John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge. We will be accompanied by a documentary film crew getting some footage about a film detailing the shifting demographics of birding. There will be restrooms at the beginning and we will stay on gravel, paved, or dirt paths. We will have a moment to rest a bit if needed while on the board walk. We should be well into the shorebird migration part of spring and look forward to seeing many. There is also an opportunity for BIPOC folks to receive some free ICB apparel and a honorarium for modeling the apparel (unrelated to the documentary).
