John Heinz w/ Campbell Simmons

Welcome to FALL MIGRATION!!! We’ve missed you!

Join @incolorbirdingclub and our special guide for the morning Campbell Simmons for a bird outing on Sunday, September 15th from 8am to 11am.

We will enjoy some fall migrants including songbirds, raptors, wading birds, and shorebirds. We will traverse wide gravel/dirt paths along with the lovely impoundment boardwalk. Binoculars will be available to those who need them. Restrooms will be available at the beginning and potentially at a point depending on our route (if we make it to observation tower).

Campbell or Cam (she/they) has been birding with ICB for the past couple years and regularly brings the joy to every bird outing. In her career, Cam works for The River Network as a Resilient Communities and Policy Associate to advance climate justice and holistic community resilience that incorporates environmental, social, and economic resilience. Originally from San Francisco, Cam has embedded herself in the Philly birding scene and will be sharing some of her joyful experiences at @johnheinznwr

As usual, we want to remind folks that we welcome everyone but do center the experiences of Black and brown community members. Please attend with a respectful, accepting, joyful, and collaborative attitude. The world has many challenges these days and we really want to ensure that this event is a positive space for EVERYONE.

Please RSVP at the link in our bio! See you soon!!!
